FASHION ASSISTANT
xx PLAY CRITICAL ROLE IN THE CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF ONE, HOT CLOTHING LINE xx
Hip New York-based, counter-culture clothing brand seeks a creative and motivated INTERN or ASSISTANT to help out the Creative Director with design & rendering of company`s Fall/Winter collection. Interested candidates should be Fashion Design Students or Graduates with an artful sensibility and classy-fresh-forward style. Ok, "edgy". Should also have finger on the pulse of what`s big in Fall fashion and latest cultural obsessions plus desire to gain hands-on industry experience.
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Preparing tech-packs and line sheets
• Drawing technical sketches/flats
• Completing some finishing touches
• Sourcing materials for design inspiration & development
• Sourcing and organizing fabrics and trims
• General administrative help
Requirements:
· MUST have the ability to hand sketch/illustrate as well as computer render
· Proficiency in Photoshop & Illustrator programs
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
. Love for fashion.
The HOURS ARE FLEXIBLE but we prefer at least 2 full days per week
The internship will run for 2 months.
Located in West NY, NJ Just 5 minutes from the City and a another 5 minute walk from the ferry station at Port Imperial.
